Wise words from an 8year-old.

I was watching Rio with my baby sisters the other day when i randomly asked a question to well, no one. I wasn't expecting any answers from anyone in particular at that time.

Me: "Why is it that in every movie there will always be ONE main bad guy with 2 not-so-smart assistants??"

I can't really remember the exact words that she said,

but it was something like this:

"I think it's because they spend too much time being bad and doing bad things that they don't have time to study."

After hearing her say that, i realized how much my baby sister has grown.

From the small lil' cute & chubby baby that she used to be,

to this pretty and matured lil' lady that she is right now :)

Even at the this young age, she knows how to say words of appreciation, care for people, and even strike a proper conversation.


Once my mom was preparing lunch in the kitchen, she said:
"Thanks for cooking for us everyday, mum. Your cooking is very nice."

When i got back late from work, feeling all exhausted, she came and asked:
"So how are you? How's your work?"
*with her big wide smile*


Sometimes we as grown-ups don't even do that. Hearing those words from her really encourages me to become a better sister and a better person.

She's our precious lil' princess in the family.

This was taken on the day Evangeline was born. We were on our way to the hospital to meet Eva for the very first time. They're both very good 'big' sisters :)

And this was Evangeline's way of saying "HI" to them. Hehe.
